Claims & Evidence gives tenant managers a secure verification queue for damaged-item, wrong-item, missing-item, and delivery-condition evidence.

Intake protections

• Accepted formats are JPG, PNG, WebP, and PDF, with a 10 MB maximum.
• Production files use private object storage with server-side encryption and short-lived download links.
• Each file receives a SHA-256 fingerprint for duplicate detection and audit evidence.
• Evidence can be linked to an open conversation and customer without exposing another tenant’s records.
• The default retention date is 180 days and is visible during review.

Human verification

Open the private evidence, write what it establishes, then verify or reject it. A decision requires a note and records the manager and time. Evidence never issues a refund, replacement, cancellation, or customer reply. Continue into the order’s governed workflow for any commerce change, where eligibility, permissions, tenant policy, and approval rules still apply.
